LWI Trips

We know what a life-changing experience a mission trip can be, and we want to provide others with that same opportunity. We led our first trip to Guatemala in 2001. This year, we will see more than 80 volunteer teams on the field. Visit the Trip Calendar to see our schedule for this year.

LWI's short-term mission trips provide the opportunity to be a member of a team, together serving God by loving people. Led by an experienced staff member or volunteer, team members work hands-on with nationals to drill a new water well, repair broken pumps or teach the women and children of a village about health and hygiene.

The focus of each project is transforming lives through relationships. This happens through the practical service we perform, and through sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those we are serving.

Training in shallow-well drilling, pump repair or health and hygiene education can be helpful in preparing for an LWI mission trip. Training seminars are offered throughout the year.
