LIVING WATER INTERNATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS
Throughout each year, Living Water International conducts hands-on courses that train both volunteers and development professionals to implement basic community water solutions in developing countries. Participants are equipped to train others, with the goal of seeing national teams meeting the needs of their own people. The seminars, offered at sites across the United States, require no previous technical or development experience.
LWI’s training program began in 1997, with Shallow Well Drill Training. The program expanded to include Pump Repair in 2002; Health and Hygiene was added in 2004. These programs have trained thousands of compassionate people to be hands-on development practitioners, with the skills required to implement holistic water solutions. LWI trainees have gone on to work with a wide variety of public and private-sector organizations, and have implemented projects in more than 60 countries.
